Local college students honored for academics

Maddie Thompson named to honor roll at Culver-Stockton 

CANTON, Mo. - Culver-Stockton College recently recognized 147 students on its honor roll for academic achievement during the fall 2019 semester.

Maddie Thompson of Matthews, MO, was named to the list. Thompson is majoring in Biological Chemistry.

Students on the honor roll have earned between a 3.2 and 3.49 grade point average and were enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours with no grade lower than a C.

Gabriel Eckert named to dean's list at Culver-Stockton

CANTON, Mo. — Culver-Stockton College recently recognized 229 students on its dean's list for academic achievement during the fall 2019 semester.

Gabriel Eckert of Sikeston, MO, was named to the list. Eckert is majoring in Physical Education.

Students on the dean's list have earned between a 3.5 and 3.99 grade point average and were enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours with no grade lower than a C.

Jamey Dusenbery named to Upper Iowa University 2019 Fall Dean's List

FAYETTE, Iowa — Upper Iowa University has announced the Dean's List for the 2019 fall semester. To be honored, a student must have earned a minimum 3.50 grade point average for the semester and be enrolled as a full-time student.

The honored students included Jamey Dusenbery, a human resources management major from Sikeston.

State Tech announces Fall 2019 Dean's List

LINN, Mo. — State Technical College of Missouri has announced its Dean's List for the 2019 fall semester.

Local students who made the Dean’s List include: Brianna Whitlock of Chaffee;  Braden Nixon of Oran; and Mikel Moody of Portageville.

To be placed on the Dean's List, a full-time student must earn a semester grade point average between 3.5 and 4.0 on a 4-point scale.
