Henry Maclin

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Henry L. Maclin Sr., 79, formerly of Portageville, Mo., died Feb. 14, 2020, at St Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born May 30, 1940, in Pemiscot County, he was the son of the late Bland C. and Cornelia Moon Maclin.

He was also preceded in death by a brother; and a son, Mathew Dale Maclin, on Aug. 15, 1988.

On Dec. 10, 1960, in Portageville, he married Alice Lineberry , who survives of the home in Cape Girardeau.

Other survivors include: one son, Hank (Jenny) Maclin of Dyersburg, Tenn.; two daughters, Marie (Glenn) Gill of Portageville and Renee (Lee) Gatewood of Mountain Home, Ark.; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Eustachius Catholic Church in Portageville with the Rev. David Baunach officiating.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.

DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville is in charge of arrangements.
