CLINTON, Ky.— William Loyce Ruff, 79, passed away March 9, 2020, at the Clinton Place in Clinton, Ky. He was born Feb. 12, 1941, in Jerusalem, Ark., to the late Paul and Cleo Beavers-Ruff.
William was a member of the United States Army and a Korean War vet. He owned his own Heating and Cooling business until he retired.
William is survived by one son, William Scott Ruff of Sikeston; one daughter Wendy Ruff of Princeton, Ky; one sister, Alma (Delbert) Curry of Sikeston; one brother, Elbert (Jerry) Ruff of Sikeston; and three grandchildren, Landon Morgan of Lexington, Ky., Billy Wallace of Princeton, Ky., and Maddie Morgan of Princeton, Ky.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Lorene Edwards, Ruth Holman, June Burnett and Reba McDonnold; and three brothers, Marvin Ruff, Joe Ruff and Kenneth Ruff.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Landon Morgan, Billy Wallace, Tim Holman, Doug Ruff, Mike McDonnold and William Holman.
Interment will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri, with full military honors.
