BMU, city officials should be ashamed

I think the officials with the Board of Municipal Utilities and the City of Sikeston should be ashamed of themselves after the recent rate increases. We have a customer service charge of $15 for water. We have a customer service charge of $15 for electric. We have a customer service charge of $15 for sewer. What is that for? Then they charge you an exorbetant rate. I wonder how many supervisors at BMU are making over $100,000 a year. When you have senior citizens, senior moms and low incomes out here who can’t even hardly pay their electric bill. It’s a shame. Thank you.

Pray to end coronavirus

I would like to challenge all praying Christians to be praying at least one time a day for the coronavirus to end. Prayers do help. God is the only one who can stop this.
