Americans need to wake up and add

Americans need to realize, if every American were given $1 million, out of $1 billion, there would still be $970 million left, in $1 billion. It would not even $1 billion to give every American $3 million or $4 million or $5 million. It would not even use up $1 billion. Americans wake up.

Sikeston grocery stores drop the ball

In this time of uncertainty Sikeston grocer’s have dropped the ball by not offering, weekly/monthly coupons and sale items which help many of us make it through the month. I realize the stores are doing a great job in trying to keep their shelves stocked, but these missed savings are crucial to those of us on fixed incomes. Please rethink this position. Thank you.

Electric bill wars

The Sikeston Power Plant is the third cheapest in the state of Missouri. Move somewhere where you have Ameren Missouri, like East Prairie. I live alone and I am all electric. The past two electric bills were, one was $274 and one was $289. I have an average three-bedroom house. It has just been a very cold winter.

According to the National Weather Service we have had a “warm” winter. Also, on March 25 Ameren Missouri announced a decrease in their rates for the second-straight year so hopefully you will see lower electric bills in the future.

Democrats worse than coronavirus

At this present time, the worst enemy of the United States is not the coronavirus, it is the Democrat Party.
