Richland grad accepted to medical school

ESSEX, Mo. — Joseph Foster, a graduate of Richland High School, has been accepted to the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State University.

Foster, the 2015 valedictorian at Richland, received a full scholarship from the Missouri Beta Clut to attend Southeast Missouri State University where he majored in Biology: Biomedical Sciences and minored in Chemistry, graduating in 2019 cum laude and completed the Jane Stephens Honors Program.

He was the external vice president of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, chair of College Republicans and president of the Homecoming Planning Committee.
