Local students graduate from college

Missouri State University

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Missouri State University conferred more than 1,500 degrees to students in fall 2019.

Past the standard expectations, the university recognized 22 students for their work with a more rigorous curriculum in Missouri State’s Honors College.

Mary Carlyle of East Prairie, graduated with a Master of Accountancy.

Jatyra Marsh of Portageville, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.

Amanda Moody of Portageville, graduated Cum Laude in the Honors College with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.

Miranda Harrison of Sikeston, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Education in Special Education/Cross Categorical.

Moriah Payne of Dexter, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Rachel Putnam of Dexter, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication.

University of Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri has released their fall semester 2019 graduation list. In December 2019, 1,746 students received degrees.
