UPDATED NUMBERS: Scott County with 75 positive cases but only 25 active

According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Missouri saw an increase of 368 cases Monday and six deaths, giving the state 8,754 positive cases and 358 deaths. Since Friday afternoon, the state has seen an increase of 919 positive cases. There have been over 91,000 tests given in the state.

Scott County has reported 75 positive cases as of Monday afternoon. Of those positive cases, there have been two deaths and 25 are still active. There have been 15 new recoveries since Friday.

According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services information released late Friday, one congregate living facility in Scott County has had an outbreak. A congregate living facility include: long-term care facilities, which include skilled nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities, assisted living facilities and residential care facilities that provide nursing or convalescent care.

As previously been reported, the Sikeston Convalescent Center has had a number of cases in their memory wing.

There are 11 positive cases in New Madrid County, with two still active.

There are 29 positive cases in Mississippi County and according to the Mississippi County Health Department, all 29 cases are from the Southeast Correctional Center. Last week, Mississippi County held a drive-thru testing site at the Ole Galemore Motors Building and tested 211 people. The Mississippi County Health Department said they have gotten the majority of the tests back and all had negative results.

According to the Pemiscot County Health Center, there are 40 positive cases of COVID-19 in Pemiscot County with 22 active. Two are currently hospitalized and there have been three deaths. According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, one congregate living facility in Pemiscot County has had an outbreak.

There are 23 reported cases in Dunklin County. According to the Dunklin County Health Department, last week they tested 225 individuals with no new positive cases coming from that group.
