Two more positive cases reported in Scott County

Two additional positive COVID-19 cases have been reported in Scott County.

According to the Scott County Health Department Friday afternoon, two women, one over the age of 80 and another between the ages of 60-69 tested positive in Scott County. There are just 16 active cases with 91 total positive cases to date. There have been 67 residents that have recovered with eight deaths.

The Mississippi County Heath Department is reporting 53 positive cases with 43 of those being inmates at the Southeast Correctional Center in Charleston. There have been 13 individuals removed from quarantine, leaving 40 active cases.

The New Madrid County Health Department is reporting one new case, giving New Madrid County 15 positive cases with one active and one death.

There are 68 positive cases being reported by the Stoddard County Public Health Center with 37 active and 28 recovered. There have been three deaths.

Statewide, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 218 new positive cases Friday afternoon with 10 additional deaths. To date, Missouri has had 11,340 positive cases with 671 deaths.

DHSS is also reporting two additional cases in Pemiscot County (72) along with an additional case in Bollinger County (6) and Cape Girardeau County (57). Both Butler County (28) and Dunklin County (25) did not have a new case reported Friday.
