EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — David Wayne “Spanky” Sprinkles, 60, died July 4, 202,0 at his home in East Prairie.

Born Nov. 2, 1959, in Wyatt, son of Frankie Bernice Davenport Bisher of East Prairie and the late Earl Julian Sprinkles, he was employed in farming before his retirement and of the Baptist belief.

His wife, April Fritsch Sprinkles, survives of the home.

Besides his wife, survivors include: one son, David Ray Sprinkles of East Prairie; one daughter, Samantha (Joe) Ivie of East Prairie; five brothers, Kenny Sprinkles of Pocahontas, Ark., and James Sprinkles, Stevie Sprinkles, Henry Sprinkles and Mike Sprinkles of East Prairie; and three sisters, Sheila Tubbs of Benton, Mo., and Sandra Sprinkles and Shelly Bisher of East Prairie; and three grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bryan L. Bisher; one brother, Archie Earl Sprinkles; and one sister, Brenda Baker.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Sonny Jackson, pastor of Crow Methodist Church in Matthews, Mo., will officiate.

Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: David Ray Sprinkles, Mike Sprinkles, Joe Ivie, Kip Brown Jr., Bo Brown and Jimmy Blasingain.

Honorary pallbearer will be Nathaniel Ivie.
