COVID-19 UPDATE: Ten new cases in Scott County since Friday

The Scott County Health Department reported 10 new COVID-19 cases since Friday Monday afternoon.

According to the health department, there was two positive cases reported on Saturday, one on Sunday and seven on Monday, giving the county 242 cases. Of those, 59 are active with 170 recovered and 13 deaths.

The Mississippi County Health Department reported 119 positive cases Monday morning, with 72 of those in the general population and another 47 positive cases among inmates at the Southeast Correctional Center in Charleston.

There are six active cases in the general population with 66 recovered while the Missouri Department of Corrections reporting only one active case among the inmates at the SECC. There were also 20 inmates who have tested positive at the SECC with all but three recovered.

The Stoddard County Public Health Center reported 171 positive cases Monday afternoon, with 21 active and 141 recovered and nine deaths.

The Cape Girardeau Public Health Center reports 448 confirmed positive cases with another 44 probable cases. Of those, 214 are active with 275 recovered and three deaths related to COVID-19.

Both Dunklin County and Pemiscot County have 164 positive cases Monday afternoon with 44 active cases in Dunklin County and 46 active cases in Pemiscot County.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 530 new cases in Missouri Monday afternoon with three additional deaths. To date, there are 33,624 positive cases in Missouri with 1,132 deaths.

The New Madrid County Health Department had not reported any new numbers at 5 p.m. Monday afternoon.
