CHARLESTON, Mo. — Wilbur Dean “Pete” Bone, 80, died July 30, 2020, at the Charleston Manor Nursing Home.
Born Sept. 29, 1939, in Mississippi County, Missouri, son of the late Everett Bone Sr., and Patty Mae Glass Bone, he had lived in Mississippi County his entire life where he was engaged in farming until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Charleston and a longtime member of the Sikeston Elks Club.
He was married to Carolyn Dianne Robinson who preceded him in death.
Surviving are one brother, Bud Bone; three sisters, Mary Bone, Grace Blaylock and Linda Vogt; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Everett Wayne Bone, Jr.
There is no visitation.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Charleston. The Rev. George Nite, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Charleston, will officiate.
Burial will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
