Drive-thru flu shot clinic held

As Bud Henry of New Madrid takes part in the drive-thru flu shot clinic on Tuesday, his dog Harley keeps a watchful eye as Jayne Dees, director of the New Madrid County Health Department, takes down information. Drive-thru clinics will also be offered Oct. 1 at New Madrid, Oct. 6 at Morehouse and Matthews, Oct. 8 at Risco and Gideon, Oct. 15 at Portageville and Oct. 22 at Parma. Shots are available by appointment only. To make an appointment, New Madrid County residents should call 573-748-5541.
