Scott County with 37 new positive COVID-19 cases

Scott County has 37 new positive COVID-19 cases since Friday.

The Scott County Health Department reported the new cases Monday afternoon, giving the county 147 active cases. There were 10 new positives reported on Saturday, seven on Sunday and 20 on Monday. There has been 737 recoveries and 16 deaths since the pandemic began in March.

The Mississippi County Health Department reported 15 new positive coronavirus cases since Friday, increasing the number of active cases from 34 to 38 while deaths remained the same at six.

The Stoddard County Public Health Center reported 31 new positive cases and one additional death since Friday. The death is the 18th in the county.

According to the health department, 15 new cases were reported Monday with 16 cases reported over the weekend. There is currently 102 active cases with 456 recovered.

The Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center reported 18 fewer active cases on Monday, with 518 active cases to date. There has been 26 deaths and 1,363 recoveries.

The health center also released a report on long-term care facilities within the county that have had outbreaks. Currently there are 77 active cases with 61 recovered and 14 deaths from long-term care facilities.

The Pemiscot County Health Center reported 70 active cases Monday with two hospitalizations. There has been 12 deaths and 476 released from isolation.

No new numbers had been released from New Madrid or Dunklin County as of 10 a.m. Tuesday.
