Southeast Elementary in Sikeston has named its September BASE Kids. BASE stands for Be Respectful (of all adults, peers and school property); Act Responsibly (be responsible for your learning); Stay Safe (make safe choices to keep self and others safe); and Excel (be your best self). Teachers select a student that has done an above average job at displaying these behaviors each month. Pictured are, front row, from left: Milo Kinder, Mary Lou Russell, Scienna Beeson, Kinsley Brown, Emily Gilmore and Adelyn Rickman; and back row: Logan Tehee, Colin Merideth, Brooklyn Smith, Mariah Hurley, Aiden Huang and Lawrence Davis. Not pictured is Aidan Garcia-Hernandez.
