PORTAGEVILE, Mo. — Billie Gene “Bill” Estes, 90, died Oct. 4, 2020, at Golden Living Center in New Madrid.
Born April 30, 1930, in Portageville, son of the late Susan Welch Estes and Dege Estes, he worked at Noranda Aluminum until his retirement and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portageville.
On April 15, 1956, in Portageville, he married Patricia Ann Call, who preceded him in death on July 31, 2018.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Beth Cross; five brothers, Jack, Braz, Lex, Tom and Felix; and two sisters, Mary Estes and Georgia Hennie.
Survivors include: three sons, Billie (Hope) Estes and John Estes of Portageville and Timothy(Kim)Estes of Marble Hill; two daughters, Sheila (Mike) Brands and Karen (Melvin)Johnston of Portageville; and
17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville, where services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery with the Rev. Reggie Grant officiating.
