Two more deaths reported in Cape County

Two additional deaths related to COVID-19 were announced Wednesday by the Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center.

One individual was in their 70s while the other was in their 80s, making 34 deaths in the county to date.

Currently in Cape Girardeau County, there are 501 active cases, 31 fewer than on Tuesday.

The Scott County Health Department reported 19 new positive cases on Wednesday with nine recoveries. There is currently 164 active cases with 857 recoveries and 18 deaths in the county.

Ten new cases were reported by the New Madrid County Health Department on Wednesday, giving the county 66 active cases with 15 deaths and 545 out of quarantine.

The Stoddard County Public Health Center reported 23 new cases Wednesday. To date there are 150 active cases in Stoddard County with 536 recoveries and 18 deaths.

In Dunklin County there are 133 active cases with 827 recovered and 11 deaths while Pemiscot County has 57 active cases including four residents who are hospitalized. There has been 13 deaths and 563 released from quarantine.
