SIKESTON — Helen Belvin, age 75, of Sikeston passed away on Jan. 11, 2021, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

She was born Jan. 28, 1945, daughter of Alva and Virginia (Faith) Hartle. She and Lacy May were united in marriage and after 47 years together, he preceded her in death on Aug. 7 2007. On Nov. 23, 2018, Helen married Bruce Belvin and he survives her in Sikeston.

Helen liked to cook.  She loved having guests, and entertaining family and friends. She was a member of the Smith Avenue Church of God in Sikeston.

Survivors include: her husband Bruce; three daughters, Lisa (Matthew) Phillips of Dexter, Missouri, Gina (Kenneth) Crutchfield of Arnold, Missouri, and Leslie (Ronnie) Bryant of Richmond, Virginia; grandchildren, Amber (Nathan) Kidd of Tampa, Florida, Lacy (David) Bushue of St. Louis, Missouri, Trey Brashear of Benton, Missouri, and Hillary Bryant of Richmond; great-grandchildren, Courtney Kidd, Nate Kidd, Kyle Burgess, Mayson Ballentine, Gunnar Brashear, and Kayleigh Brashear; and one sister, Polly Guidorzi of Arnold.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lacy May; her parents; and one sister, Wilda Maulding.

A celebration of life service will be Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the Smith Avenue Church of God in Sikeston with son-in-law, Ronnie Bryant, officiating.

Liley Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
