Reba Ryan

SIKESTON — Reba Hollene Ryan, age 87, of Sikeston, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She was born Jan. 8, 1934, at Sikeston, to the late Holi and Nora Scott Holifield. Reba was employed at Missouri Delta Medical Center as a CNA for a number of years, until her retirement. After retirement, she became a Foster Grandparent at the Sikeston kindergarten. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston. She loved to watch the Cardinals play ball and spend time with her great-grandkids.

In 1954, she married Marion Ryan, who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by eight siblings; one son, Louis Jackman; and one granddaughter, Melissa Jackman Elkins.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Marcalea Ryan of Sikeston; two grandsons, Brad and Tiffany Ryan of Sikeston and Jamie Jackman of Brookfield, Missouri; five great-grandchildren, Dakota and Alexis Ryan of Sikeston; Jacob, Allison and Matt Jackman of Brookfield; one great-great-grandson, Grayson Jackson of Brookfield; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Private services will be held at a later date.
