Fourth grader Mason Hise of Kelly Elementary Beta Club was presented a $500-check from Sikeston VFW Post 3174 to compete in the National Beta Convention at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, this summer. He is the son of Sammie and Belinda Hise of Sikeston.
