Answer the phone

I want to speak out on the phone service of the City of Sikeston. It’s all a recorder. They can’t get to the phone. Hire someone that can. They have employees up there. If they can’t answer the phone when you’re trying to call them, hire someone.

Park the crop dusters

Hello southeast Missouri. Hello flight plan. The last two-and-a-half days and as a matter of fact at 7:29 another crop duster has been buzzing our homes over here for the last two-and-a-half days. C’mon, why should we have to hear all this mess? Go take your flight pattern and practice somewhere else. I know you can’t land that fast and get refueled and get refertilized and everything. C’mon, this is a community too. God bless America and leave your crop dusters at home.

Watch speeders on Missouri

I wished there were more of a police present on Missouri Avenue especially in the evenings from 4 p.m. on. We have a firemen who drives a SUV that uses this street for his own personal speedway when responding to a fire and then there are people who treat this straight piece of road as drag strip. We have kids and people walking down the street so please, whoever in charge, let’s see if something can’t be done.
