Dear Editors:

Thanks to a generous donation from Sikeston VFW Post 3174, a plaque will be placed in the state capitol on behalf of the Missouri Military Hall of Fame. The plaque will list each year the name’s of the recipients being inducted  into the Hall of Fame. The 2021 induction ceremony will be Oct. 29 in the Rotunda of the state capitol. Major Gen.Cassie Strom, USAF (RET) and President of the Hall of Fame expressed her deep gratitude to the Sikeston VFW Post to make this plaque a reality for the Hall of Fame and those inductees whose names will be inscribed each year on the plaque.

Strom indicated because of this kind act by the Sikeston VFW Post, this plaque will always be a reminder to those Missourians each year touring the capitol of the service and sacrifice these men and women have made on behalf of our state and nation for our freedoms.
