Two injured in Scott County crash

A two-vehicle crash resulted in moderate injuries for two Oran residents Thursday in Scott County. According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred about 7:55 a.m. as the southbound vehicle driven by Kathryn Hamilton, 71, of Oran attempted to make a left turn and was struck by the southbound vehicle operated by 23-year-old Emily H. Phillips of Oran. Hamilton and Phillips were transported by ambulance to Cape Girardeau hospitals.
