Standout Student-sixth grade

Jared Waters, a sixth grader at Sikeston Middle School, was recognized Nov. 9 by the Sikeston R-6 Board of Education as a Standout Student for November. Board member Chad Bles read the nomination from the school: “Jared is a hard-working student. He goes above and beyond to help teachers, classmates or anyone who is need of a helping had. He is kind to everyone in class. Jared is also very polite. He greets his teachers every morning and always responds with a respectful tone. He’s a dependable student and always strives to do his best in all areas.”
