SIKESTON — Michael Duncan, age 59, passed away Dec. 30, 2021, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Dec. 11, 1962, in Sikeston, son of Betty Laseter Duncan of Sikeston and the late Larry Duncan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked as an over-the-road truck driver.

On May 19, 2012, in Sikeston, he married Shelley Renee Turner Duncan, she survives of the home in Bertrand, Missouri.

In addition to his wife and mother, Michael is survived by three sons, Michael (Kat) Duncan Jr. of Springfield, Missouri, Christopher (Sydney) Cochran of Benton, Missouri, and Zachary Cochran of Jackson, Missouri; three daughters, Candace Bramlett of Sikeston, Nicole (Dustin) Hoffman of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Christina Duncan of Cape Girardeau and Amanda (Terry) Oakes of Sikeston; one brother, Heath Duncan of New Madrid, Missouri; several grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. at the Life Center in Sikeston. Pastors David and Harriet Craig will officiate.

Burial will follow Thursday, Jan. 6 at 11 a.m. at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri, with full military honors.
