Richards and Ray are named Students of the Month for April

SIKESTON — Lila Marie Suzanne Eckert and Ryan Ray Richards were named Sikeston High School Students of the Month for April.

Sikeston Public Schools Foundation, which sponsors the monthly program, names two seniors each month for the honor during the 2021-2022 school year.

Eckert, who is the daughter of Brian and Kate Adams, is active in Sikeston wrestling, marching band, jazz band, Red Peppers, Key Club, National Honors Society and performance ensemble (symphonic band). Her hobbies include drawing, reading, painting, watching anime and playing the trumpet.

Richards is the son of Marci Price and Roger Richards. He is active in the College Now Program and a member of Sons of the American Legion Post 114. In his spare time, he enjoys computer programming, hanging out with friends and playing the guitar.
