Local student named to Columbia College spring semester dean’s list

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Columbia College recently announced its dean’s list for the spring 2022 semester.

To be named to the dean’s list, a student must have completed 12 semester hours in a 16-week period and achieved a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0-point scale.

Among those named to the dean’s list is Kameron Dohogne of Oran, Missouri, who attended Day Campus-Columbia.

Local student receives Mass Media and Strategic Communication Award

MARTIN, Tenn. – Gracie Barber, a junior from Sikeston, Missouri, received an award from the University of Tennessee at Martin Department of Mass Media and Strategic Communication during a virtual ceremony April 7.

Barber received one of two Swafford Public Relations Scholarships, which recognize outstanding juniors and seniors in the public relations concentration. The department recognizes students in each of the four academic concentrations – broadcasting, media design, news-editorial and public relations.

SNHU announces winter 2022 President’s List

MANCHESTER, N.H. —  Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) has announced the following students on being named to the Winter 2022 President’s List.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in the fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits over two consecutive terms (EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6).

Belmont University announces Spring 2022 dean’s list

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The following students achieved the Dean’s List at Belmont University for the spring 2022 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours (exclusive of audit and pass/fail courses this semester) and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C (inclusive of audit, pass/fail courses and zero-credit courses).

MidAmerica Nazarene University announces spring 2022 honors

OLATHE, Kans. - MidAmerica Nazarene University recently announced its President’s, Dean’s List and Honor Roll for the spring 2022 semester. A total of 388 students qualified for one of the honors.

All students in traditional programs carrying 12 semester hours or more with a term GPA from 3.2 to 4.0 may qualify for one of these academic honors. Neutral credit hours are excluded from the calculation and reduce the course load used to figure the honor. The President’s List is a 4.0 grade point average for the semester; Dean’s List ranges from 3.5 to 3.99; and the Honor Roll is 3.2 to 3.49.

Truman State University announces academic honor rolls

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. — Truman State University has released its academic honor rolls for the spring 2022 semester. 

Students who received a grade point average of 3.5 or better during the spring semester can now find their honor roll information posted online.

The President’s List is for students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Locally, Donnie Beck of Sikeston made the President’s List.

To qualify, a student must be an undergraduate and complete at least 12 hours of credit during the semester.
