Edmond receives masters degree
CARBONDALE, Ill. — Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Edmond Jr. of Diehlstadt, Missouri, are proud to announce the graduation of their daughter, Jessica D. Edmond, from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Jessica is a graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School graduate.
Jessica received a Master of Fine Arts in Mass Communications & Media Arts on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Jessica also earned two previous Master of Science degree at SIU in Workforce Education and Development, with an emphasis in Adult Education; another in Mass Communication & Media Arts, with an emphasis in Professional Media and Media management. She was also awarded a Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting Fellowship in 2014, which funded her photojournalism research that led her West Africa, Ghana.
In the future, Jessica plans to continue with her art as a fine art photographer and media artist.
