After listening to stories about animals and their habitats, youngsters attending the summer reading program, Tales and Tails, at the New Madrid Memorial Library, had the chance to learn more about owls. Pictured from left are Lawson Woods, Eliza Woods and Lance Long as they dissect owl scat finding bones, claws and even skulls of animals eaten by an owl. The reading program will be offered again in July at the seven New Madrid County libraries.
