Seven Portageville Senior athletes honored

Last Tuesday night, Feb. 12, the Portageville High School recognized several senior athletes. The ceremony was held prior to the varsity basketball match against the Bloomfield Wildcats. It was their last home basketball game of the season. The school district thanked the Basketball players, cheerleaders, and coaches for making this season a memorable one.

Steven Guo is the 17 year old son of Salina and Justin Guo of Portageville. He has one brother Aaron. Steven is a member of FBLA, BETA, Art Club, National Honor Society and has been a part of the Basketball team for four years. Jonathan Bryce Rone is the 17 year old son of Kevin and Trisha Rone of Portageville. He is the grandson of Don and Myra Rone and the Late Joe Paul Priggel and Mary Lou Priggel all of Portageville. He has one sibling, Grace.-Scott Seal photo
