The city of Sikeston is about to release a new list of properties that will be acquired by the Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority and ultimately demolished. The second list of 49 properties follows the release earlier this year of 33 properties. That first batch of homes is now in the legal process of condemnation and acquisition. The city had actually hoped to be removing most of those properties by now. But that action hopefully is just weeks away at the most...
