EAST PRAIRIE - Danny Wayne Presson, 65, died at 8:40 a.m. July 28, 2008, at his home. Born Sept. 29, 1942, in St. Louis, to Marjorie Horton Presson of East Prairie and the late Lowell Wayne Presson, he lived in East Prairie most of his life. He was employed by Burkhart Manufacturing in Cairo and later by the Community Sheltered Workshop in Sikeston until ill health forced him to retire on Oct. 26, 2007.
