Corps to breach levee

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have decided to operate the floodway project at the Birds Point New Madrid Floodway. On Monday afternoon, Maj. Gen. Michael Walsh, president of the Mississippi River Commission, announced the Corps will begin blasting at 9 p.m. tonight.
