Kennett too much for East Prairie 28-13 EAST PRAIRIE -- The Kennett Indians defeated the East Prairie Eagles 28-13 Friday night to secure its first win of the 2011 season. The game began with the Eagles and Indians committing two turnovers each in the first quarter. Kennett took a 7-0 lead following the four turnovers on a 17-yard touchdown rush by Darius Warren at the 2:27 mark of the first period...

SIKESTON -- Spring floods and scorching summer heat wreaked havoc on some gardens and flower beds.
