Born Jan. 6, 1945, in Sikeston, to the late Cordie and Evelyn Ryan Raines, she had worked as a nurse at Missouri Delta Medical Center for 11 years and also at LaBonne Maison in Sikeston. She had been a member of Temple of Faith Church and had attended Canalou Baptist Church...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Bobby C. Gammons, 66, died at 6:03 p.m. July 2, 2012, in the East Prairie Nursing Center. Born Dec. 5, 1945, in Dorena, to the late William and Maude Adams Gammons, he was of the Pentecostal belief and was a retired truck driver. "We left Sikeston at about 9:30 that morning and arrived home 5:30 that night," said Capt. Ken Dicus of the Sikeston DPS. "That fire is 100 percent under control right now."...
