news@standard-democrat.com SIKESTON -- A Sikeston man is facing driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest by fleeing and assault an officer charges after a high -- and slow -- speed pursuit Wednesday. Mark Lofton, 37, was arrested following a pursuit that began at about 10 p.m. when gray pickup truck failed to pull over on North Main for a DPS patrol officer. Speeds during the pursuit reached as high as 90 mph, according to DPS Capt. Bill Mygatt, but also "part of it they were doing 15."...
