DICKINSON, Texas - J.R. Fisher, 76, formerly of Vanduser, Mo., died June 10, 2017, in Houston. Born Jan. 13, 1941, in Bell City, Mo., to the late Lester and Zada Mae Fisher, he was a carpenter for many years. He served in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Darlene Simpher Fisher; one son James Ross Fisher Jr. and wife Merideth; four sisters Naomi Rion, Anna Hale, Nancy Williams and Fay McEneny; two brothers Ray Fisher and Bobby Fisher; and three grandchildren...
