County Road and Bridge Sales tax proposed to voters

One of the main items that will be on the ballot in the upcoming election Tuesday, April 2, is a county-wide sales tax proposal. It will be an opportunity for voters to decide to continue with the current one-half cent sales tax. It is currently in place and has been used solely for the purpose of funding improvements to transportation infrastructure in New Madrid County. It was voted on four years ago, but has termed out. Dear Dietitian, I had a heart attack about six weeks ago, which required bypass surgery. While in the hospital, I was bombarded by different professionals who instructed me to quit smoking, stop using salt, and change my diet to low fat/low cholesterol. I so very overwhelmed after major surgery that I only remember about half of what was said. I have managed to stop smoking but haven’t gotten to the diet change yet. Can you help?...
