Robie McKnight

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Robie J. McKnight, 40, formerly of New Madrid, Mo., died Feb. 27, 2004, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville.

Born July 30, 1963, in Memphis, Tenn., son of Betty Jo Freshour Colwell of Sikeston, Mo., and the late Buster McKnight, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and member of the Church of Christ in New Madrid.

Survivors in addition to his mother include: one daughter, Morgan McKnight of Louisville; one sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Cole Smith of Sikeston; one brother, Michael McKnight of Arkansas; and two stepbrothers, Tracy Colwell of Tallahassee, Fla., and Timothy Colwell of Oak Harbor, Wash.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday with Ed Thomason officiating.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn, Mo.
