Almeda Mayfield

ST. ANN - Almeda Bollinger Mayfield, 87, died Jan. 16, 2004, at DePaul Medical Center in Bridgeton.

Born July 27, 1916, at Scopus, daughter of the late Bernie E. and Elsie V. Bollinger, she lived in St. Louis County for several years and was a member of Fee Fee Baptist Church in Bridgeton for many years.

Her husband, Addis C. Mayfield, preceded her in death in 1966.

Survivors include: two sons, Doyle Ray Mayfield of Foristell and Addis Eugene Mayfield of Kent, Wash.; one daughter, Vernita Mayfield Enlow of St. Ann; three brothers, Ray Bollinger of Alton, Ill., Roy Bollinger of Blodgett and Clyde Bollinger of Festus; two sisters, Mary Lou Latham of Florissant and Rosalie Bollinger of Benton; and eight grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Glenn Bollinger and Dale Bollinger.

Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Alexander Funeral Home in St. Ann.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the Fee Fee Baptist Church in Bridgeton.

Burial will follow in the Mount Lebanon Cemetery in St. Ann.
