Betty Brewer

SIKESTON -- Betty Sue Brewer, 73, died May 9, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Oct. 29, 1931, in Wayne County, Tenn., she was a retired cashier for the Brewer Grocery Store and was a member of the Harbor Lights Christian Center in Sikeston.

Her husband, J.W. Brewer, preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1963.

Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie Fae and James Beaird of Sikeston and Rebecca Sue and Frank Fennell of Palm City, Fla.; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Dale and Veneese Brewer of Vero Beach, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Barbara Jean Brewer; two brothers; and one sister.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. James Ed Beaird will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
