Howell - Covelle

WILMETTE, Ill. -- Steven and Deborah Howell have announced the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Faye, to Mark Nugent Covelle, son of Keith and LaDonna Johnson Covelle of Winnetka and grandson of Evelyn Upton of East Prairie, Mo.

A 1998 graduate of New Trier High School, the future bride received a bachelor's degree in English in 2002 and a master's degree in secondary school counseling in 2004 from Lehigh University. She is a high school guidance counselor in Bethlehem, Pa., and is also an assistant softball coach at Lehigh University.

The prospective bridegroom also graduated in 1998 from New Trier High School. In 2002 he received a bachelor's degree in English and secondary education from Boston College. He is employed as a high school English teacher and yearbook adviser in Center Valley, Pa.

Plans are under way for a July 30 wedding.
