SIKESTON - The Daughters of Sunset became a household name in the community of Sunset. The 15-member group has done a lot for its citizens. Also valued are the scholarships awarded annually to students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to receive a college degree. Since the organization's inception in 1984, 22 scholarships have been given. The group will honor its 11th birthday on March 19.
