Nellie Harden

SIKESTON - Nellie L. Harden, 76, died at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 3, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born March 13, 1928, in Matthews, daughter of the late James Elmer and Nancy Ann Crevosieur Harden, she was a member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church. She had been employed by the Rustic Rock and was a waitress for Lambert's Cafe for 37 years.

Two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two nephews, Phillip "Bud" Evans of Sikeston and Reggie Harden of Sullivan; six nieces, Barbara J. Moore, Shirley Jo Brown and Linda Agee of Sikeston, Kay Morton of Kewanee and Thelma Cox and Rose Lee Husher of Rector, Ark.; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. Friday until service time at 11 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Ray Thurman, pastor of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Mike Quillman, pastor of Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church of Malden.

Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
