Ruth Hawk

STURDIVANT -- Ruth Hawk, 88, died April 19, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 25, 1915, in Greenbrier, she was the daughter of the late David and Bertha Sample Owens.

On May 3, 1936, in Greenbrier, she married Linus Hawk who preceded her in death on April 27, 1999.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Hawk; three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include: one son, David Sheridan Hawk of Pauls Valley, Okla.; two daughters, Pat Ubelein of Poplar Bluff and Janice Dold of Pauls Valley; one brother, Warren G. Owens of Pomona; and nine grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Burial will follow in the Morgan Memorial Park near Advance.
