CAPE GIRARDEAU - Henry Jay and Robin Joy Freeman are the parents of their third child, second daughter, born at 2:14 p.m. Dec. 26, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Katelyn Elizabeth Freeman weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces and was 18 1/2-inches long.

The former Robin Slavings, Mrs. Freeman is the daughter of Richard Slavings and Charlotte Slavings of Benton. She is a technician for Marion Eye Center and Optical in Cape Girardeau.

Freeman, son of Henry and Joyce Freeman of Sikeston and Noreen Becker of Sioux Falls, S.D., is an officer with the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Brent David and Julie Elizabeth Anderson are the parents of their second child, first daughter, born at 8:45 a.m. Dec. 27, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center. Kristin Elaine Anderson weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19 3/4-inches long.

Mrs. Anderson is the former Julie Earl, daughter of Steve and Rosey Earl of Cape Girardeau. She is employed with Charleston R-1 Schools.

Anderson, son of Tom and Donna Anderson of Scott City, is employed by SBC Communications.

DEXTER - Darek and Kara Anthony are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 1:49 p.m. Dec. 27, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Collin Lee Anthony weighed 6 pounds and was 19 1/2-inches long.

Mrs. Anthony is the daughter of Mike and Rita Batchelor.

Anthony, son of Rick Anthony and Connie Johnson, is a land grader.

DEXTER - Robert Matthew and Courtney Charise Moore are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 7:52 a.m. Dec. 28, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Shannon Elizabeth Moore weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce and was 20-inches long.

Mrs. Moore is the daughter of Hazelle Vaughn and Randy Vaughn.

Moore is the son of Margaret Moore.

EAST PRAIRIE - TiaLisa Shelquist and James Evans Jr. are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 12:58 p.m. Dec. 28, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. James Michael Evans III weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19 1/2-inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Brenda Funderburk and Timothy Shelquist.

Evans, son of Jim Evans, is employed by Cheers Bar and Grill.
