County drug bust lands four in jail

BENTON -- A search warrant served on a residence in Morley Tuesday netted the arrests of three Scott County residents and one from Bollinger County on various drug charges, according to the Scott County prosecutor's office.
The warrant was served on the residence of Jaden Zeleny, 27, of 215 Kennett St. in Morley. Deputies arrested him along with Nova Worley, 47, of 490 County Road 430, Morley; Joseph W. Head, 41, 38 Center St., Sikeston; and Jason Gordon, 29, of County Road 102, Marble Hill.
Charges ranged from possession of methamphetamine and manufacture of a controlled substance to felony receiving stolen property.
Zeleny remains in the Scott County Jail with bond set at $101,500 cash only, and Worley is also in jail with a $75,000 bond. Both Head and Gordon posted bond. Gordon will appear in Division 5 Court before Judge David Mann on Jan. 18; Head is scheduled to appear in Division 5 on Feb. 2.
