EAST PRAIRIE -- Bettie Ivie and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ivie of East Prairie have announced the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Leigh Drury, to Lawrence David Brashear Jr., son of Lawrence and Pat Brashear of Sikeston.

A graduate of Sikeston Senior High School, the future bride is employed by Health Systems Inc. in Sikeston.

The prospective bridegroom is also a graduate of Sikeston Senior High School and is employed with the Board of Municipal Utilities Sikeston Power Plant.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the wedding ceremony at 5 p.m. Feb. 14 at Tanner Street Church of God.
