I'd like to know what is going on with the delivery services. In the past month I've had two packages delivered. No one knocked and no one rang the bell. I saw the Fed Ex truck leave my driveway and they had left the package on the front porch to be exposed to the weather and seen by anyone passing. The second time on my way to the mailbox, I saw a package at the edge of my carport. Please ring the bell. If I'm not at home, leave the package at the carport door, okay? It's not exposed to the weather and can't be seen from the street.

This is to the family in Charleston that is flying the raggedy, torn-up flag. It hurts me to even look at it. You say you served in the military and you won't take down that flag. This is awful. Please take your flag down.

I would like to buy some this year's pecans. If anyone has any, put your number in SpeakOut and I will give you a call.

Would someone, who is that kind of person, explain to me why people who do not like dogs, don't enjoy dogs, don't want to have the attention of dogs or even take care of dogs, get dogs. Why do people like that get dogs? Do you get some kind of sadistic pleasure out of making another creature miserable? That's what you're doing when you get a creature like a dog and ignore it or give it inadequate care or use it for a barking machine. Spend the money and get an alarm for God's sake. What kind of people are you? I think you're sub-

human and certainly not anyone I would want to associate with or anyone else would want to associate with.

I tell you one thing I know for sure about people who mistreat animals and neglect animals. They're stupid and low-class. I don't care how much money you've got or how fancy your house is. You are trash if you don't treat animals decently. There's no better indicator of the class of people than how they treat animals. That's what you are. You decide whether you are going to behave despicably or respectfully.

I want to speak out about the election for president. I don't think a mayor has the knowledge to run our country. He done good to be a little mayor. I hope people can see that we are doomed if he gets in. I don't think we could stand four years of him. We are paying the price now for one big dummy. How can we stand another? Mr. Bush has alienated our country. Can you imagine four more years of the same crap? I don't think so. Our children and grandchildren will be paying for his ignorance for years to come and we will have war right here in the U.S. if the little mayor gets in. Wake up people! We don't need another Republican. Look at all the corruption that has happened since the Republicans have been in office. We need someone who is honest and fair, not corrupt people to run our country.

That "little mayor" ran a city larger than Georgia or Arkansas, the homes to former Presidents Clinton and Carter.
