"Rocking the boat" needs to save his preaching for the gullible. The Bible doesn't provide "proof" of anything, any more than the Koran or any other "Holy" book based on faith. For some people, the Bible is the only book they've ever read. Sounds like that may be the case with "Rocking." When I recalled the old saying about the devil quoting scripture to suit his purpose, I never claimed that was in the Bible. Not surprisingly, your reading skills could use improvement. There are other, better sources of knowledge and information. The Bible is full of myth and allegory, not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'm a Christian guy and this has to do with Christianity. To all the pastors in the churches of Sikeston, when somebody calls you for a hand out and they're willing to work it off instead of getting it free, I don't understand why you don't help. God wants churches to be known as blessed churches. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that you have to be a member of a church to receive help. I don't mean putting somebody in a hotel room for one night and giving them one meal and think you did your duty in God's eyes. There is a lot of people that take the churches but there a lot of us that are legit. Don't judge us. If you have the love of God in you, and He has blessed you with material things, and you don't bless others, then how can you have the love of God in you? The money that people pay for tithes and offerings, and I'm a faithful tither and offering giver, it goes for the church and the people in the church, but also outside the church. And people appreciate churches that give away free food to the poor. As you know, God wouldn't go the cheap way. You need to give people food that they can use, like milk, hamburger meat, cereal and diapers. Don't go the cheapest way with commodities. People need more than that. All you pastors, I have nothing against you because the Bible states don't talk about the men of the cloth. I pray that all churches will come together and do right. One day you will all have to stand before your Maker and give an account of what you have done. The church funding is also for people to get their utility bills paid and is for gas so they can get to church every Sunday. People pay their offerings and tithes, but they're struggling. Preachers go out every Sunday and take three or four people to eat, while others have to go home and eat a can of pork and beans. I love everybody out there and hope that this message will get across to some. I've never seen a hearse with a luggage rack on top.
